This is a letter from an avid player of the international version of the Chinese game, Onmyoji. In lieu of a recent character design release, many of us Global Server players are dissatisfied with the new design decision that was released and would like to voice our opinion. This message will be posted onto Weibo and tagged accordingly. If any clarification is needed, feel free to inquire. For context, an original character was first introduced as a magnificent warrior with a tragic backstory. However, in a recent design for his SP form (Special form), he was reduced as a child which incited much shock and displeasure. We believe that infantilizing a much beloved character is not the way to go. It would be much appreciated if the translation would be done ASAP. As long as the main point of this message is conveyed, liberties by the translator may be taken. Attached are files to show the initial adult designs of the character and the newly released child design to show the inane discrepancy.
